Empowering Goa’s Children: 19 Days of Child Abuse Prevention
Join us as we embark on a crucial journey to protect the most vulnerable voices in Goa—our children. Amidst the excitement of the National Games, a constant stream of tourists, and preparations for various events, the need to safeguard our children from harm cannot be overlooked.
El Shaddai Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the Women’s World Summit Foundation (WWSF), presents the “Prevention of Child Abuse” (POCA) campaign. Running from November 1st to November 19th, this 19-day program aims to raise awareness and educate children and the community on child protection.
Our campaign kicked off on November 1, 2023, with a spirited bicycle rally, followed by a program graced by prominent figures. Mr. Matthew Kurian, the founder of El Shaddai Charitable Trust, emphasized the importance of protecting children against various forms of abuse and violence.
El Shaddai Charitable Trust has dedicated over two decades to empowering underprivileged children by providing education, sustenance, and shelter. Over these 19 days, we will conduct a series of activities, from street plays to educational programs, in major towns and cities across Goa, including Margao, Vasco, and Panjim.
We believe that every child is like a delicate flower in a garden, deserving of utmost care and protection to preserve their innate beauty and joy.
Join us in this noble cause. Let’s protect our children’s future.
