As the covid-19 pandemic continues to take its toll on our conservation and community program, many of the poorest and vulnerable families are more likely not to have Sweaters, shawls, or blankets to keep themselves warm during this winter. In December 2020 we started the winter wish project which was implemented in remote villages like Gahamkuti and Gudri from Gujarat. Our main objective was to help children and widows belonging to Adivasi and Dungeri tribe.
We have used the funds received through GlobalGiving combined with other sources for the benefit of 300 children and 100 women in total. Our staffs have gone house to house and hand to hand to provide the families living in narrow spaces and in the footpaths of the streets, with sweaters and shawls.
We want to thank the GlobalGiving team for helping us achieve our objectives. We also want to thank you for your support and for stepping up and taking action. Together we made it. All the beneficiaries are very grateful and thankful for your kind act of giving. Though it has been a challenging year all around, you have found it in your heart to make a difference in someone’s life, especially during this winter.
