Leave a
Legacy
“You can't make a difference until you dare to be different.” - Orrin Woodward
Leaving a Gift in your Will you can help us to offer a better chance in life to orphans and street children in India.
Why leave a Gift in your Will?
El Shaddai depends on the gifts people leave in their Wills. Your gift could help to educate children in India offering them a chance at a better life and safe living conditions. El Shaddai is helping over 2500 children to go to school and get a quality education.
Child marriage would fall by 64% worldwide if every girl receives an education. El Shaddai is educating girls and boys giving both equal opportunities in life.
Every child matters. For some their lives do not hold much promise for a bright future. All they need is someone like you, to believe in their dreams and give them a chance at a better life.
There are three different types of gifts you could leave in your will: residuary, pecuniary and specific. A residuary gift is a way of leaving a share of your estate, once all other payments, debts and gifts to loved ones have been made. A pecuniary gift is a fixed sum of money. A specific gift is a particular item, possession, building or shares.
Many people decide that leaving a share of their estate is preferable as this ensures their gift keeps pace with inflation, whereas a cash gift may decrease in value by the time the Will comes to fruition.
Leaving a Gift in your Will is an amazing act of Kindness. Pledge a legacy Gift.
