El Shaddai Caught up in Natural Disaster

In the evening on 15th May 2021 cyclonic storm Tauktae moved nearly to the northern parts of Goa making landfall and intensified into a very severe storm. In the past 48 hours, gusty winds and heavy rains lashed uprooting trees, electricity poles, blocked roads, disrupted power, and water supply leaving a major impact on El Shaddai. Our homes, shelters, and centers were too damaged, the branches fell on the roofs and some rooftops were also blown away. It quickly became the worst emergency crisis. Until now there is no electricity, no water and internet is not restored yet, but the mobile network is partially resumed and we are keeping you informed that the children and staff are safe!!!

Still, the rain has not stopped and continuously creating havoc everywhere and we are still waiting for the rain to subside so that we can start with the repair and maintenance work. Please keep praying for us and Thank you for your support.
