Eight-year-old Anita lives at El Shaddai. She has been with us since 4th June 2012. Anita has two elder sisters and a younger brother who suffers from a medical condition in which he needs a blood transfusion every month. The father works as a labourer while the mother looks after the children. Most of their earning goes towards the brother’s medical expenses. The family is struggling to survive and meet their daily requirements.
Anita is a quiet and sensitive child; she enjoys playing different games with her friends at El Shaddai. Her sweet smile lights up the room everywhere she goes.
Anita’s parents were referred to El Shaddai by one of our former children. Anita’s parents then brought Anita and her sister to us and requested us to admit Anita and her sister in our care. She was welcomed into a loving home which offered her comfort, companionship, nourishing food, education and the possibility of a secure future. Soon after Anita’s admission in ESCT her brother expired.
Anita is a quiet and sensitive child; she enjoys playing different games with her friends at El Shaddai. Anita has a sweet smile and is a fun-loving child who is enjoying her surroundings. She attends our Shanti Niketan (Non-Formal) School.
