Anand

Anand currently lives in Victory House. He has been with us since June 2016. He was born in the state of Goa. Anand has a twin sister, and a sister younger than him. Anand’s father is a chronic alcoholic and he physically abuses his wife and children. Being a father he takes no responsibility in supporting his family financially. Anand’s mother struggles to provide for her children with the limited income that she earns. At times Anand and his siblings are left with no food and proper clothing. So to save her child from further adversities, Anand’s mother came to us for help and requested us to admit Anand and his twin sister into our Children’s Home. Anand and his sister were quickly admitted into our Children’s Homes where they were offered comfort, companionship, nourishing food, Education and the possibility of a secure future.

Anand is very happy and is enjoying his stay with us. He speaks Hindi, and will soon learn to speak English too. He now attends our Shanti Niketan (Non Formal School) and likes going to School. During leisure Anand enjoys playing with his friends and loves to watch TV. Anand needs love and care. If he is given any additional help or assistance of any type, he can fulfil his dream and grow and develop as a normal child.

All donations to El Shaddai Charitable Trust are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
