VICTORY HOUSE, SALIGAO.
The month of September saw majority of our boys leaving for their own homes, for the Ganesh holidays. They spent a week with their families and returned in time for school. Loads of games, movies and other activities made the holidays fun-filled, for those who stayed back at the Home. (more…)
The month of August has been enjoyed very much by the boys of Victory House in outdoor games. They also took part in various other activities conducted by organizations and have done pretty well.
The 61st Independence Day was celebrated with gusto & fervour. On this occasion, our children were invited by the La Mansion Hotel, Guirim. The performing group of boys and girls received a gift for participating in the singing and dance competition. The staff of La Mansion also supported the function and all the guest winners donated their cash winnings towards the children of El Shaddai. (more…)
The month of July has been a mixed month for the boys and staff of Victory House. To begin with, we had Johnny Father former In-charge of Little Acorns joining as the Manager. He is a soft spoken man and has proved to be very efficient, intelligent and hardworking. (more…)

During the month, most of the children came back after vacation. The ones who had spent their vacation at the Homes were sure glad to see their friends back. There was a lot of sharing of sweets from home and relatives. They settled down within a couple of days and the Non formal and formal schools began on the 5th of June, all the boys went to school. The month of May started with a bang for the children of ESCT as we had the Children’s summer camp. Our project partners all over India took active participation in the 4 days summer camp. (more…)
April was a relaxed month at Victory House. The exams were finished and done with and the boys were enjoying their summer vacation. The boys from Shekinah House and the cottages too joined up at the VH and so it felt like a big, happy and comfortable family. (more…)
March was a different month and unlike any month we have had so far. Boys were deep in studies for the forthcoming final examination and at the same time had lot of activities where they enjoyed themselves and relaxed. To add to all that it even rained heavily bringing relief from an unusually hot summer. (more…)
The events at Victory House continued from February. Parties, contests, birthdays etc were celebrated and overall boys had a wonderful month. Visitors were plenty and some saw their children after many years. They also donated towards the needs of the Home. (more…)
It is rather difficult for the other months of the year to match the excitement that December brings. However, this year January came close to achieving that feat at Victory House. We have had ourselves a very exciting month thanks to all the visitors, friends of El Shaddai and the volunteers who came with smiles on their faces and left a lasting impression on our hearts. The boys were ready for December long before it arrived. They anticipated a lot of activities and events and they were not disappointed. Holidays only added to the merriment of the season. We were in Christmas mode all this month and it was a joyous month enjoyed by all. The Home was beautifully decorated with lights and Christmas décor. A star and Nativity crib completed the site.
