TREMARA COMMUNITY CENTRE has begun with an Adult Education programme this month. They are expecting many more to enroll next month, with 8 women presently attending. This being a month of holiday many could not attend the class. These classes will help the women not only to read and write but also to develop their morals and self-confidence.

On 19^th September a health worker from the department visited and to provided multi vitamin syrup to the children of age group 2-8 yrs. Children’s birthday were celebrated and sweets were distributed.

A Drawing competition is being organized for the school going children of Chimbel during the Diwali Holidays. Teachers from various Schools will be invited as judges. On 25^th October, a prize distribution programme has been coordinated for the same.

A free medical check-up for all the children is planned during October, in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre, Chimbel.
