HOUSE OF KATHLEEN, ASSAGAO.

The month of September has been an excellent month on interesting happenings for the Children of the Home. They had holidays, games, visitors, donations and parties etc. Almost every day has special and novel with many children around. All our children go to school and when they come back they are full of stories of what happened in school. They are doing pretty well and the teachers are pleased with their progress. The staff of House of Kathleen are always ready to help any child needing their help.

The Ganesh holidays began and children went to their own homes. The ones who remained at the HoK had a good time. ‘Drawing’ competition was held and the children prepared some beautiful drawings. RH girls helped the Staff in doing up the place. The health of the children has been good this month.

The staff this month has been engaged with various training and workshops for Children. Everyday the staff learns more and more on how to be more efficient and effective while dealing with children and their various issues.

We are all looking forward to October as the whole of Goa takes on a festive air. The children and the staff are truly ready to welcome the visitors and to give them an experience that will change their lives. We pray that God will send many so that more and more people will be aware of the work we do and more children will benefit through El Shaddai Charitable Trust.
