The boys are also looking forward to the tourist season; for visitors at their Home and interesting with all of them.
VICTORY HOUSE, SALIGAO.
The month of September saw majority of our boys leaving for their own homes, for the Ganesh holidays. They spent a week with their families and returned in time for school. Loads of games, movies and other activities made the holidays fun-filled, for those who stayed back at the Home.
It has been a month of sunny and rainy weather and all the activities in the Home depended on the weather condition. On sunny days the boys played outdoor games while on rainy days they remained indoors with interesting activities well planned of the Manager and his team.
Ms Anita Lind, sponsor of Sanju (333) visited the house and brought some toys for the children. A Managers Co-ordination Meeting was organised at the Victory House with a staff duty class co-ordinator. Samay Thappa is back to El Shaddai and is presently staying at the Cottage. A Mock Fire Drill was organised at the Shelter to ensure safety drills are perfected. Few children were effected with cold and are now recuperating. Ramesh (32) conducted a football match and all the children enjoyed themselves. A meeting was held for the cottage boys, which focused on ‘Responsibility’ while two Children were counselled. The cottage boys were moved to VH during the vacation.
We now look forward to October having many activities planned wherein they can participate and learn. We hope the coming month will have good things in store for us.
