The month of August has been enjoyed very much by the boys of Victory House in outdoor games. They also took part in various other activities conducted by organizations and have done pretty well.

The 61st Independence Day was celebrated with gusto & fervour. On this occasion, our children were invited by the La Mansion Hotel, Guirim. The performing group of boys and girls received a gift for participating in the singing and dance competition. The staff of La Mansion also supported the function and all the guest winners donated their cash winnings towards the children of El Shaddai. We appreciate Mr. Tanavde (MLA) for an invitation to our children for witnessing and taking a ride in the 4D simulator at La Mansion, Guirim. Independence Day was also celebrated by the Children participating in the Choreographed programme at the FCC Youth Service.

At present Victory House and the cottage has a strength of 57 and 14 children. Godfrey and Stephen visited and audited the Home respectively. Children were taken for Table Tennis practice, and they are getting ready for the tournament.

Paster Matthew visited the Home, interacted with the children and suggested points for improvement. A Fire extinguisher board has been set up at the entrance for the Fire drill and a Fire duty chart displayed accordingly. Generally the health and hygiene of the children was good

The month of August is a special month for all the Children with the Ganesh festival holidays and some of the boys have gone home for the festivities. We hope this coming month will be a blessing to many of the children and the staff.
