LIEVE LEE TREK FOR EL SHADDAI

Lieve Lee will trek MACHU PICHU “Old Mountain”, a pre Columbian Inca Site, located 2400 meters above sea level, on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru. This trek along the ‘Lost City of the Incas’ will take place from March 22nd to 31st, 2009, to raise funds for El Shaddai.

KILIMANJARO CLIMB - JULY 2007

In July 2007 Karen McIntosh and her son Mark, set off for Tanzania, Africa in an attempt to climb Kilimanjaro - an extinct volcano, 200 miles south of the Equator. It is the highest free standing mountain in the world with a summit of 5985m. Climbing Kilimanjaro is one of the ‘ must do ‘ challenges of the mountaineering world. Karen and Mark wanted to climb this mountain and in so doing, raise money for El Shaddai.

The exhaustion climbing the ascent was indescribable and certainly the most gruelly mental and physical activity that they had ever done. (more…)
