After the fabulous start we had for the year 2008 we knew that February would be no different. The activities continued and the staff and children had a lot to do. New things happened and the good old ones were continued. Many new children came into our Homes and Shelters. (more…)

Victory House boys win gold and silver at inter-school sports events

The events at Victory House continued from February. Parties, contests, birthdays etc were celebrated and overall boys had a wonderful month. Visitors were plenty and some saw their children after many years. They also donated towards the needs of the Home. (more…)

Anitamother takes a special interest in the treatment of Floyd

After all the noise which accompanied the renovation of the Shelter the month of February was very peaceful. Children and staff together cleaned the Shelter and the surrounding area. We are very proud of Stepping Stones. The Shelter looks very inviting now and we hope many children will come and take advantage of the facilities provided. (more…)

Everything from study tours to colour days to competitions to farewell programmes

The school has had an eventful month. Various activities kept students, teachers and volunteers on their toes. Some activities even took children and teachers out on day tours. The month ended with the second term examination.
At the top of the month the Nursery children went on a day tour of the children’s park at Campal. (more…)

Tony Freeman celebrates wife’s birthday with a grand party at Shekinah House

February came accompanied by very cold weather. The nights were chilly and boys found it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. We started a routine of physical exercises for boys and staff to get the blood circulating. We began each day by encouraging each other. Rain or chill we saw Anitamother almost everyday on her early morning walk with her dog Heidi. She always had a kind word for staff and children. (more…)

Rainbow House and House of Kathleen celebrate a joint party

February was a sort of cool month. The weather was really a surprise. It was very cold and the general opinion was that this was the coldest year in a long time. It was also a month where the House received many many visitors, sponsors and well wishers. So many of them have been a blessing to us, teaching the children craft and art work. Many also donated towards the needs of the Home and we thank them. (more…)

The number of children who availed of Day Care facilities this month was 1586. Food, shelter, formal and non formal education was provided to all. Many of these children were also treated as the need arose. Overall we had a great month of February with its cold weather and warm sea breeze. (more…)

The small ones have a great month with outings, picnic and party

February has been thoroughly enjoyed by the tiny tots. Everyday has been special. So many visitors have come to our Home to see these children and children have been great with them. The good manners and behaviour has been commented upon by almost every visitor. (more…)

Visitors donate generously towards Asha Deep needs list
