All our children have returned and we now have a total strength of 51 girls all enrolled in the Shanti Niketan School. New uniforms have been distributed to all the children and they look very smart when they go to school. 8 children from the House of Kathleen have been admitted to the Rainbow House. In addition, we have had 5 new admissions. The schools started on 9th June 2010.

Some of our girls suffered from viral fever, cold, cough and loose motion. But after proper medication and care all are back to normal. One of the girls, Anita, was suffering from skin disease and we took her to the Asilo Hospital skin specialist. Anita is under medication and improving.

 The month of June saw 12 of the girls celebrating their birthday. A joint celebration was done on the 21st of June where all girls have a jolly good time.

We are also glad to say that all the students who appeared for the 10th standard have passed and we are sure they have a bright future ahead.
